Starter Backlog

Product Backlog initially consists of the Scrum Starter Backlog. As this backlog is worked on, additional backlog is created. For example, the Scrum Starter Backlog item "Develop a list of product features ..." generates a list of product features are added to the Product Backlog.
  1. Review business plans and product vision
  2. Develop a product metaphor
  3. Develop a list of product features and functionality
  4. Define the technology, standards, and guidelines with which the product will be built
  5. Develop a technical architecture for implementing these features and functionality
  6. Develop an initial data model
  7. Develop a prototype of the part of the product with which the user will primarily interact
  8. Create a backlog for developing these features and functions with this architecture
  9. Prioritize the backlog
  10. Size the backlog
  11. Size the product
  12. Break the product into assignable units
  13. Identify appropriate staff
  14. Identify the first release(s)
